The Armenian Center for the Arts will constitute an ambitious and vibrant complex of performance halls, theaters, galleries, and studios for arts programming and education.
Preliminary plans for the complex envision an architecturally compelling structure consisting of
A 600-seat performance hall for concerts, theatrical and dance productions, and similar large-scale cultural events;
A 99-seat theater for intimate plays, chamber music performances, and literary readings;
An exhibition gallery to showcase works of visual art, such as painting, photography, and sculpture;
Studios for workshops, rehearsals, and classes; and
A café.
Under consideration are still more features, ranging from a recording studio to a resource library and a bookstore. The scope of the final design, of course, will be determined according to the allowances of the acquired space.
